INL – News
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory launch a research collaboration agreement.
The International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) today began a new collaboration that will enrich each institution’s research activities in nanoscience and nanotechnology.
This collaboration will lead to the hiring of researchers in a selected group of projects forming a common research agenda between INL and MIT Microsystems Technology Laboratories and Materials Processing Center.
The projects include research on self powered systems for autonomous sensing in biomedical applications, graphene based microsystems for environment and food quality monitoring, self assembly routes for device fabrication, nanomaterial arrays for energy storage and sensing, and nanoparticle engineering for environmental applications.
This new collaborative project with MIT will certainly reinforce the clear compromise of INL with the internalization of science and the promotion of networking research activities in the field of Nanotechnology. MIT joins its name to the list of selected international institutions with collaborative projects with the INL.
