Light Emitting Diode-Based Lamp

QD Vision is launching its first commercial product, a light emitting diode-based lamp for household and office work. According to sources in the spin-off of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the development of this product they have applied knowledge gained in research conducted with government contracts.

At the beginning of June this year QD Vision was awarded with the Phase II Small Business Innovation Research grant from the U.S. Army to develop its technology for use in micro-displays.
